Who we are
For more than 25 years, the Kirkland Group has consistently had a positive impact on students, teachers, and administrators. Our mission is to provide clients with tailor-made support that results in improved performance for students and staff. We listen, assess, and design an action plan based solely on needs and then provide highly skilled coaches who apply data-driven strategies and the effective use of high-quality instructional materials to ensure improvement on all levels.

How we address equity
As a leading service provider for K-12, The Kirkland Group is dedicated to advancing academic performance for at-risk and struggling students and supporting teachers and administrators through services such as data coaching, teacher coaching, curriculum implementation, and professional development. Our professional learning services provide teachers and students with the individualized support they need as they utilize HQIM. As a result, we frequently experience substantial growth and achievement among our partnering schools. A proven agent of change in the public school sector, The Kirkland Group is bridging the gap between teaching and learning in school districts throughout the United States.
How we build district capacity
The Kirkland Group successfully builds capacity to support HQIM implementation among teachers and administrators. Our instructional coaches receive training on methods to tailor their approach to meet the needs of teachers with various levels of experience to build trusting professional relationships. Individualized professional learning support is provided throughout the school year to support teachers’ use of the curriculum. Instructional coaches provide modeling, co-teaching options, and opportunities for reflection and feedback. Our individualized services are targeted and provide extensive guidance and assistance for teachers who can benefit from sustained support.

Workshops
Our professional development workshops build the capacity of teachers and leaders to raise and sustain student achievement. Delivered by our team of experienced coaches, our technical solutions feature in-depth guidance with the implementation of HQIM and best practices directly informed by research and our long-standing involvement with schools and districts.
Coaching
The Kirkland Group’s instructional coaches focus on instructional planning and procedures, instructional delivery, instructional environment, assessment, and HQIM. Using information compiled from school data, and with an array of best practices, our instructional coaches customize support plans based on the individual needs of each district, school, teacher, and student.
PLCs
The Kirkland Group’s consultants promote collaboration and help facilitate professional learning communities using real live videos, Author Insights, In-Class Models, and Lesson Details.
Consultations
The Kirkland Group provides customized support to all administrative levels such as Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, Principals, Assistant Principals, Directors, Curriculum Coordinators, and Lead Teachers. We work side-by-side with administrators through job-embedded professional development to build their capacity to improve learning outcomes.
