Who we are

For over 20 years, New Teacher Center has been working to end educational inequity. We work with educators at every level, from new teachers to system leaders, to help our district and state partners improve the educational experience of their students. Through strategic consultation, we build coherence and capacity around a high-quality instructional culture, anchored in aligned job-embedded professional learning and coaching that is rooted in equity, rigorous standards, and curriculum.

Long-term services

  • NTC can provide multi-month or multi-year engagements that support all levels of a school district system. These long-term engagements may include systems-level consulting with district leaders, as well as professional learning and coaching for school leaders, school-based coaches, and/or teachers.

Short-term services

  • Short-term NTC offerings include coaching sessions and forums with school-based coaches. Coaching happens one-on-one and is highly individualized. In forums, NTC facilitates small group discussions around the content of an upcoming unit of instruction, and how coaches can best support that content through their own coaching and/or PLCs.
