Who we are

Mathematics Vision Project (MVP) authors high-quality high school mathematics curriculum for both AGA and Integrated course sequences. MVP is the authoring team for Open Up High School Mathematics, Skyline High School Mathematics, and the MVP legacy curriculum. These materials engage students in tasks that draw upon student discourse and representations to elicit, extend, and refine their conceptual and procedural understanding of mathematics. The professional learning offerings engage teachers in frameworks of instruction that support implementation of curriculum to ensure learners acquire academic language, mathematical content knowledge, and the ability to engage in mathematical practices.

Long-term services

  • We provide districts and schools with Professional Learning supports that include initial and ongoing growth opportunities for teachers and leaders. Implementation of high quality materials and effective teaching practices is a journey that we support across multiple years. As authors of the curriculum and the PL provider we seamlessly support teachers and leaders through modeling, exploring, and incorporating sound instructional frameworks. Site-based or virtual coaching can enhance and accelerate teacher learning. Our continuum of teacher practice informs the work to support teachers as they incorporate high-leverage routines and learning frameworks.
