Who we are

As an organization with 28 years’ experience in professional learning and the authors of the EL Education K-8 Language Arts curriculum, EL Education is uniquely situated to support all aspects and phases of implementation. In an independent study by Mathematica Policy Research of EL’s Teacher Potential Project, the combination of the EL curriculum and our aligned professional learning was proven to effect positive shifts in teacher practice, increase student engagement, and advance students’ literacy achievement. Our strategic and capacity-building partnerships with schools and systems around the country use continuous improvement cycles to advance excellent and equitable outcomes for all students.

  • Strategic Planning sessions inform design of the partnership plan and occur at critical points in the year to monitor progress on implementation goals. Guided Implementation sessions complement Strategic Planning by providing a framework to monitor implementation using EL’s Dimensions Data Platform to collect, synthesize, and share data.
