Who we are

NextGenScience provides services to improve the design of quality, coherent K–12 programs that align science standards, instructional materials, professional learning, and assessments to support meaningful science experiences for all students. NextGenScience supports school system leaders to lead their selection of high-quality materials and to plan for successful materials implementation. NextGen TIME, a suite of professional learning tools and processes for collaborative, evidence-based evaluation of science materials, is offered in collaboration with WestEd’s K-12 Alliance.

  • Our curriculum adoption process prepares district or agency leaders to plan for successful curriculum adoption, engage a team of educators in an evidence-based process to review materials, prepare and present evidence of a high-quality material, and plan to pilot and implement the new materials
