Organizational Info

Who we are

Our organization has a history of providing HQ curriculum-based PL support for teachers, coaches, and administrators in Delaware schools. Our HQIM PL model is grounded in research, designed to promote sustained growth in teachers’ content, curricular, and pedagogical knowledge, and builds mathematics leadership capacity. As part of the PL, participants unpack the big ideas in their HQIM units, anticipate the critical moments in their lessons, and analyze classroom video with a goal of enhancing students’ learning opportunities. Our programs have consistently resulted in increased teacher content knowledge, more ambitious teaching, and higher student achievement (Magagnosc, 2017, 2018, 2019).
